Theft then Drug Charges

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Texas

I recieved a Class B misdemeanor for Theft at the local Mall then once I got to the jail my friends medicine were in my bag which were considered a Class A misdemeanor of Controlled Substance.
I'm a 18 year-old currently in college, what will my punishments be? Will I be able to get these cleared off my record? I also have a clean record.

Shoplifting?? Maybe.
Drugs?? Unlikely.
