What is the name of your state? TEXAS

If I get a threatening message (which I've saved) that states, "You better hope you get out of town before my friends find you. I'm gonna have every cop I know looking for you. You better get out now." ..in a threatening tone (heavy breathing too). What legal action can I take against this? What should I do?

That could qualify as harassment since the call appears to have been made with the intent to alarm or harass, or possibly threaten you. You could report it to the local police department and ask to file a complaint.

I don't think this would qualify as a terroristic threat since there's no specific offense threatened. Either way, terroristic threat and harassment carry the same criminal penalties.
