arrested for alcohol (18)... help!

my friend and i were both arrested in a state park campground, me for underaged consumption and him for providing it. The aprk ranger had already given us a warning and taken away some of the party's liquor, and we told him there was none left. The moment we took out the one remaining bottle, the cop stepped out of the bushes and arrested us.
My arrainment is on monday, what would be the best thing to do? I cooperated with the police, and have a clean record, but the cop was obviously mad about the warning thing. Would i have a better chance at a lighter sentence if I plead guilty or if I go to a trial?
