What is the name of your state? Ohio
My daughter goes to college in North Carolina. She was ticketed for underage drinking on a street in North Carolina and was given a mandatory court date. Should we obtain legal representation?

Depends. Does she have ANY legal defense to the charge?? If not, then you have to weigh the chances of a possible reduced or lesser sentence with counsel, then the chance of NOT getting same without.
