Underage Possesion of Alcohol

Hi-
i am 18 years old and i live in Kent, Ohio. I recently received a court summons because i was caught in a parking lot with alcohol. I was charged with underage alcohol possesion ( no consumption ). I have no drivers licencse but my friend who is 19 does and he was involved also. I was wondering what the typical punishment for first time offenders is for this offense and also if it will affect my finacial aide.

A fine, probation, and you will not be able to obtain a drivers license till you turn 21. Your friend will lose his license besides the fines and proabation.
