I am a suspect in a vandalism case in Nebraska. What type of information should I disclose and what should I say to the investigator of the crime? What are my legal rights of confidentiality to this investigator? What can they disclose to the victum and what can the victum say in public?

I am a law school graduate. WHat I offer is mere information, not to be construed as forming an attorney client relationship.

Don't disclose anything. Unless you are arrested, you don't have to answer any questions. Even then, you have the right to remain silent.

My suggestion: hire a criminal defense lawyer to cover your rights so you don't wind up being charged.
