Is it legal to run a 24/7 video/audio surveillance camera in both your bedroom and your living room, and invite people over whom are then taped but unaware they are being recorded?

Also if I put up LED date/time calendars in the view of the cameras and leave them running 24/7, and let's say someone is falsely accused of a crime, could they use this video as an alibi or evidence?

What if they were falsely accused of rape?

Could they then use this video/audio recording to prove their innocence?

What if the video recording is illegal, as the other person being taped while having sex didn't consent to the taping?

Is it still able to prove your innocence?
