What is the name of your state? California

What is the difference between a federal crime and a state crime? If you are going to court in a Superior court does that make it a state crime? Is a felony with enhancement a federal crime or are all felonies federal crimes?

A: A state crime is a violation of the state criminal laws; a federal crime is a violation of the federal criminal laws.

A: You don't give enough info, but if you are asking if you go into a state court is it a state crime, then the answer is yes.


Q: Is a felony with enhancement a federal crime?

A: It could be either state or federal.


Q: or are all felonies federal crimes?
