What is the name of the state? Arizona (but trial will be held in Florida)

My sister-in-law's husband has been charged by the FBI & US Marshall's with distribution of child pornography by e-mailing photos to an undercover FBI Agent. The warrant for his arrest was issued by a Federal Judge in Florida and enacted by the FBI in Arizona. He is not being charged with any type of molestation or actual engagement in such namee activity, however the forwarding of such pictures via e-mail is still enough for prosecution. He plans to plead guilty to a lesser charge if possible. He served 5 years in the US Marines honorably and this is the first charge ever on his record.

Questions:

1. Can he petition the Court to be sentenced in Arizona to be closer to his immediate family and friends?
2. Can he receive any type of legal counsel while awaiting transport to Florida?
3. What type of sentence can he expect (length/type)?

i would really suggest you talk to a lawyer in your area and ask him your questions, this is what i did when i was in your situation (My Brother was convicted of possesion of CP), go to "[/url] and fill in as much about your case as you can, a few different lawyers will read over it and call or email you to tell you the options you have, answer any question, and tell you what you should expect, they responded to me very quickly and had answers i couldnt get from just anybody, dont worry the phone call/email and all the questions are completely free, i know some lawyers will charge you just to respond to your question, i hope this helped you out and good luck
