What is the name of your state? Washington.

If you are charged and convicted of Assault in the 4th Degree, Domestic Violence, With Sexual Motivation. Do you have to register as a sex offender?

To answer your question, we would need to know EXACTLY what you were convicted of and whether it was a felony or not.

However, according to RCW, it would APPEAR that you are required to register.
"RCW 9A.44.130
Registration of sex offenders and kidnapping offenders -- Procedures -- Definition -- Penalties. (Effective until July 1, 2004.)

(1) Any adult or juvenile residing whether or not the person has a fixed residence, or who is a student, is employed, or carries on a vocation in this state who has been found to have committed or has been convicted of any sex offense or kidnapping offense,"
