Okay, so, this is something I've been kind of worried about for a few weeks. A couple months ago I used my credit card to purchase a subscription to a pornographic website. The website had the legal disclaimer at the bottom of the page saying all models were over 18 and that it was in compliance with the law, it was offering college age women and specifically stated the age range 18-22.

After a few days, I thought that a couple of the videos and pictures contained girls that looked like they might be as young as 17. There was no indication that they were minors, but I was uncomfortable with it all the same, and I canceled my subscription.

After a couple weeks though, I began to wonder, what if some of the content did contain minors? Almost all of the content seemed to definitely be women of legal age, but it would only take one underage girl for the site to be illegal. If the authorities see the site and decide it does contain some illegal content, am I in trouble? I never viewed or downloaded anything knowingly illegal, and I'm still not sure anything there was illegal. There are some young looking 18 year olds, and they definitely were not younger children. The website specifically stated its content was legal on the front page, it didn't claim to be offering pictures of "young girls" or anything like that, and it used one of the main credit card processing sites for the payment. I would never knowingly seek out child pornography, but I've been getting pretty worried that if one of those girls was actually 16 or 17, and the site gets investigated, that I'd get in trouble.

Do I have anything to worry about? The site explicitly stated it contained legal pictures and videos, and that it was in compliance with the law. Even if it turns out there was somebody who wasn't 18, would the authorities subpoena for credit card records?
