Wrongful Conviction

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Oklahoma
Husband was convicted of rape, a class Y felony. He was convicted with no evidence, just heresay. There was no physical evidence and her mother said she showed no signs of emotional stress. The victim said the incident happened at a house she was never at. We didn't even know her then, but our stupid lawyer chose not to put my husband on the stand or use our expert witness to prove that she was coaxed by the state investigator. The nurses report showed no signs of abuse and said that everything was intact. I just want to know if we can appeal this. Our lawyer didn't even call witnesses to prove that she was never at this residence and he didn't put the mother on the stand to prove she was never there. I really need help with this because my husband was convicted of something he did not do. We have filed an appeal on the basis of ineffective counsel. I just want to know if we have a chance.
