What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio
It is my understanding that school district/taxpayer funds cannot be used to promote a levy issue. My district recently published and mailed it's bi-monthly newsletter and the entire front page was a 'letter" from the Board president promoting the levy. It was bylined with his name and title. This newsletter is obviously paid for with taxpayer funds so my question is whether this use of funds violated Ohio campaign laws.
