What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan.
I have been living alone in a house owned by my mom. She hasn't had me pay rent, but she has had me pay the heating and water and electric bills. There was no contractual arrangement, but it generally expected of me to do this because she was letting me live there. Can I claim those as expenses when applying for the Food Assistance Program?

Are they in your name? If not, you may need a letter from your mom explaining what you're responsible for. But confirm with the people from the program.
