Condemnation of a house

What is the name of your state? Washington, DC. The board of consumer and regulatory affairs are trying to force my husband to have his property razed. We have been asking for this not to happen. The board of condemnation is trying to condemn his property force him to have it demolished. Can they do that is there help out there for this situation. I went to a hearing two years ago and we have complied with what they requested that we do, now they are saying the same things about the property that are untrue. We need help. Thanks

I know, kmckeithan, that you posted this awhile ago, but on the off-chance that you are still checking the forum:

Property will generally not be condemned unless there are violations that make the property unsafe and hazardous. What, exactly, is wrong with your husband's property? Is it currently inhabited or inhabitable?
