What is the name of your state? Georgia

I was not sure where to post this, so I am posting it here and hope it gets answered.

My dad may be admitted to a Nursing Home for care. He is disabled and gets SSI. He also currently has lots of doctor bills. He does not have any assets, just the monthly income from SSI. When he is admitted to the Nursing Home, will they get his monthly check from SSI? If so, how will his doctor and hospital bills get paid?

Any information will be greatly appreciated.
THANKS!
