Found goldWhat are the finder's rights, if one were to find**************....say**************a stockpile of confederate gold, stamped with the confederate seal? Not that I have, just curious if it would legally be ours, or if the government would step in and screw us over if we DID find it. |

| Depends where you find it.

| Finder's rights are very specific to case law and statute in the state and are very, very, fact sensitive. Something like confederate gold would require the services of an attorney to find out.
