I have a friend that is a nurse and she works for a home health agency. Well recently one of her families told her employer that they do not need her anymore. Well she was upset and was talking to someone about the situation. She didn't use any names or what was wrong with the patient. No personal information was said. Is this considered violating the HIPPA law? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
