Licensure Requirements

I live in Virginia. I know that there is a licensing requirement for people to practice as mental health therapists such as psychologist, psychiatrists, clinical social workers and such. I am looking into becoming a guided imagery therapist. As far as I know, Viginia does not require a license for this. Does anyone have any information to the contrary? Before I spend money on courses, supplies (ie a music bed library) and equipment I would like to know if I need to aquire any kind of license to practice in Virginia.What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

so, basically it would be nothing more "medical" than a yoga or TM instructor? Maybe even less?
