I have been paying cash for my utilities for almost 10 years with no problem. As of late, our good city (Sarcasm)has under gone a citizen petitioned state audit, as well as had a newly appointed Mayor.4/14/8 at 9:00 I received a call from a city clerk saying my Utilities have not been paid for over 2 years. She said she was keeping the situation hush, hush and I asked her if she made changes to my account. she said no. I told her I would produce my bill which will reflect a normal one month total. I received my bill and it was $1,600.00. She of course asked for receipts, but I am unable to produce any.
