Paralegal with criminal background? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NM Hello, I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong place. this was the closest I could find that would fit my question. My question is: If someone has a criminal background (convicted 16 years for racketeering and 2 counts of solicitation to commit great bodily harm) be able/allowed to become a licensed Paralegal? Thank you in advance! |

The biggest problem would be finding an employer willing to hire a criminal. Check the state requirements here: Paralegal Division Membership Qualifications
