what happens to a person if they are getting unemployment and they say they have been looking for a job and they havnt? They have been doing it for 5 months now and getting paid from unemployment. This person lives in montana.

How do you know that they have not been looking for a job?

If it bothers you, and if you are CERTAIN of your facts (the person could be doing an online search at 3 in the morning - how would you know?) you can call the unemployment office and report it. What happens after that is none of your business and you will not be told what, if any, action the unemployment office takes.
