What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas.

Not sure if this is where to post this or not, but how do you go about getting your name off of a vehicle title. I co-signed for my son to get a truck for which the vehicle is now paid off, but it still shows mine and his name on the title and, therefore, any parking ticket, etc. also comes to me. How do I exclude my name only from the title? Thanks for any replies.

he and you both sign off as sellers and he accepts it as buyer. He would then send that in for a new title with just his name.
