Access to a child's personal injury settlement...What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania Can I, as a parent, gain access to a personal injury settlement for my child? This site claims that it is unlikely: http://www.lowabram.com/FAQ.cfm What is your opinion? Last edited by Shablo; 02-07-2007 at 04:03 PM. |

| The site you have linked goes on to say: court will sometimes allow withdrawals from blocked accounts if the funds are needed for the child's care and well being, and the court is satisfied the funds will be used to benefit the minor. You and your lawyer should discuss what expenses might be paid for with the settlement funds. So I guess the next question is what do you need the money for.
