Airplane accident

What is the name of your state? MARYLAND

****NTSB Identification: NYC06CA221 .
14 CFR Part 91: General Aviation
Accident occurred Monday, September 04, 2006 in Baltimore, MD
Probable Cause Approval Date: 12/28/2006
Aircraft: Cessna 172P, registration: N65659****

NTSB report listed above-

i was envolved in a plane accident in September. this was my 2nd solo flight. After my inital solo flight i signed a insurance waiver stating costs if any if an accident occured, $1000 for non-movement, $2500 for movement. i was never given a copy of the contract, but i do recall the contract stating i had to pay but it never stated when or how i had to pay it. the case did go to court and i did say that i DID owe the money but was given a chance to speake with the flight school owner for an outcome. i said i would make payments. BUT since i never recived contract am i still liable to make payments? or could this possibly lead to a case being dismised and not paid since i never got a copy of the contract, and that the owner of the school never made any contact to myself untill a court sommons arrived to dispute the matter. please not the owner had all phone numbers and addresses i could be reached at, plus the instructor is a good friend of mine and could have e-mailed myself to see what the deal was. any ideas?

Chris

Did you ask for a copy of the contract? Regardless, the fact that you do not have a copy is irrelevant.
Tell the flight school you want a copy of the contract before agreeing to any payment schedule. They can tell you to buzz off but it's worth a try.

So, was a judgment rendered against you or not??
If it was, pay it.

Yep... or make payment in full if the (judgment) creditor doesn't agree to payments.

Your post is confusing. Your statement above says the case WENT to court... and now you are asking if it could be "dismised" (sic)??
So, which is it?

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

You admit you owe the money. You admitted it in court. You agreed to make payments in front of the judge. Now you assume you can get out on some sort of technicality.

Be lucky that they are letting you off with just paying the in-motion deductible. The contract you didn't keep a copy of probably also stated that you were responsible for loss of use, etc...
Further it's very difficult these days to get waiver of subrogation insurance.

Renters insurance is a seriously good idea.
