assault from work colleague

hi im working in australia but from UK. A work colleague punched me in the face outside a nightclub 2 nights ago for no reason. there should be cctv footage. i went to hospital 24 hours later with minor bruising to my face for blood tests everything was fine. i havent been to the police yet. i dont know what to do or what can be done. i do not want to wor with her again.i have a doctors note for 3 days off. how much would solicitor etc be any advice much appreciated. sarah

Sorry we only deal with US law.

(Though it would be wise to report it to the police anyway)
