can a foreign company be brought to lawsuit in the U. S. if they have business in the

I have a question. It is true that if a company does business in the U. S., per say an airliner, if they conduct malpractice in the foreign country, both respondents are foreigners, can this lawsuit be brought against the airliner in the U. S. ?
