What is the name of your state? MD

He knew he had herpes since he was 18 yrs old and did not disclose this in the beginning of our relationship. He had to disclose it 2 yrs later when my OBGYN asked our history because I was pregnant with child. I have it and we recently split. I am not able to ever enjoy a normal relationship going forward because of the chance that I may pass it on to someone else. The prescriptions are expensive, the pain that I have to go through almost mostly with break outs are so unbearable. I work from home because it is easier then having to go work and deal with my outbreaks there. They are so painful. I have been dealing with this for over 2 yrs now and it is not getting any better. I just had a major outbreak on my hands at Christmas time and had to wear gloves as to not infect anyone in my family or our children. It has been horrible. He goes on from woman to woman and never tells any of them about his situation. This is a pattern and the females in his past and present should be able to confirm this. Any guidance and advice would greatly be appreciated it. Also, he slept w/ an escort back in Oct 2002 and I found out. Anyway, posted on her website was the fact that she had HIV/HepC and he never did tell me. She was advised to contact all her past clients and make them aware. HE never told me and to me this was careless on his part because he exposed my self and our family to this and we should have been seeking med advice and getting checked out. The escort is no longer in business.

Actually when that dude up there was "sane" he gave this advice in another thread similar to yours.

Does this person have oodles of money?

You may have causes of action for battery arising from contracting the sexually transmitted disease; a fraud/misrepresentation cause of action based on "fraudulent inducement to have sexual relations", etc. You may also have a cause of action for medical malpractice against his doctor IF you can prove that the doctor failed to advise his patient (your paramour) that he should always warn his partners about the disease.

And this one.

Some States will allow you to maintain a "battery" cause of action arising from sexually transmitted diseases; including a "fraud/misrepresentation" cause of action based on "fraudulent inducement".

For specific advice concerning medical records, and her privacy in such a lawsuit, see a local Personal Injury attorney.

So though I don't personally like the dude, he did give good legal advice at some point in his career here.

A Thought

The above posters are right with regard to fraud and battery. Case law says that your best bet is battery....however the statute of limitations in most states is 1 to 2 years for battery and that could mean 1 to 2 years from contraction or discovery. Please talk to lawyer. NOW.

Oh man, poor Cho, now she will hate him forever. First he gets her boyfriend killed, then he starts dating her and gives her an STD. Man, the guy can't win.

Wonder if they have a magical cure for that?

Eating those is probably easier than having to regrow the entire set of bones for your arm. LOL!

Are you sure it isn't the Vomit flavored jelly beans? I know they cure something as well, but only if you wash them down with iced pumpkin juice.

ENASNI, haven't you read the books? I have read all except the newest one, Half Blood Prince, and his girlfriend is Cho, if you are thinking it is Hermione, you have missed the boat, she ends up hooking up with Ron!

A very surprising twist because from the very first book it seemed the Hermione and Harry would fall for each other. But it doesn't happen that way.

I actually do not read the books...never could get into them! My daughter does tho...I think she had read every one at least 6x.... :)

I am a Stephen King fan....love scifi...horror...must be from living next to Witch City growing up....plus one of my ancestors was pressed to death for being a witch...
