Civil & Criminal Cases

When someone dies, what is the difference between the civil and criminal cases that can be brought regarding the death? and
What if a person dies before bringing a personal injury lawsuit?

You really must post more details with your claim. A person can be held accountably civilly and criminally for ones wrong doing. Tort = civil, laws = criminal. The defendant can face one or the other or both.

What if a person dies before bringing a personal injury lawsuit? Then he has no claim.
