Company wants to settle

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Pennsylvania
Fell on 8/25/07 at Valley Forge Convention Center resulting in open fracture of right radius and ulna. Five surgeries later and the fracture is still not healed in Oct. '08.
Claims company representing VFvCtr just sent a letter offering $34,000. If accepted, they will be released from further liability. Question: Can my health insurance provider claim any portion of the $34K? They have expended quite a bit more than that on medical treatment. Should I take the settlement?

Most likely, yes. You should not settle until your treatment is COMPLETE, and at that time find out from your health insurance company how much they need to be paid back out of your settlement. Then you are equipped to negotiate.
