Cut Finger/In my Property

A so called friend was at my house, We were both in my backyard and I was cutting plywood. He intervened and grabed the electric saw and felt he could do a better job. As he was cutting the plywood I noticed he was cutting it a little ackward, I told him to stop and he didnt listen, long story short, he cut half his thumb off. and now his evil daughters are convincing him to sue me.

Am I liable for this??

Either way I will be contacting my homeowner insurance just in case.
thanks

Your insurance will likely cover his medical bills under "medical payments to others", which is basically a no-fault coverage. Beyond that, it's questionable whether you'd actually be LIABLE. See what your insurance company says about it when you report the claim.

And kudos to the daughters for convincing their father to do the right thing.

Your shortened story removed any possibility that a useful answer could be offered.

What are the facts?

Plenty of useful advice was given. OP needs to go over the situation with his insurance company. It is impossible for us to know ALL the facts, details, and legal issues surrounding this claim even if he's posted a more detailed description. The case needs individual attention and the REAL answer quite possibly won't be known until the case goes to trial and a judge rules on it.

Looks like you admitted liability right there.
