I was in a halfway house and I tripped on the flooring in the gym. I was not allowed to travel outside the facility without an escort be staff. There was a doctor on staff but this was beyond her care. Once I injured myself I went to the ER they put me on crutches and told me if pain persist, to see an orthopedic. I was forced to remain on crutches for 60 days before I was allowed to see an orthopedic. The place they scheduled me for needed money up front (which I didn't have in a halfway house). I was released on 12/14 and not sure what I should do. I have the original pain in the left knee and from being on crutches so long I am having right knee pain as well.
