Federal Statute of Limitations

What is the name of your state? NY
How long is statute of limitations for a personal injury case? Venue is federal because plaintiff lives in one state, location of accident in 2nd state and owner corp is in a 3rd state. thanks

My response:

Why would you think this is a Federal matter? Jurisdiction lies with the State where the accident occurred. That is, of course, unless a Federal employee was involved.
