Fell in Hospital parking lot going to stay with sick father

What is the name of your state?Florida I was going to stay at the hospital with my father who was scheduled to have heart surgery the next morning, when I was walking on the sidewalk and went to step off there was a drainage ditch under the curb that threw me. I twisted my ankle and foot and have had problems ever since. This happened in October 2003. I was wondering if there's anything I can still do about this?
