Fell in pathmark

New Jersey

I was walking in Pathmark and fell in the produce, because there was a water soaked rug that made me slip. No one asked if I was ok so when I regained my composure I went to the bathroom to try to clean myself off and figure out how bad I was hurt. I was a little bruised so I went to the manager to fill out an accident report. He was rude and just asked if I wanted an ambulance. I said no. About a half hour later my pain in my shoulders was too much so I went to the emergency room for x-rays, it was just a sprained shoulder. I was wondering do I need an attourny for this I have no insurance so I am sure I will be receiving a hospital bill soon. Any advice will be helpful.

think they should take part on paying for the hospital bill. In the first place, it's negligence on their part. The company should be responsible also for the safety of the people that come and go in their premises.

Thanks for the response but I was wondering, should I be contacting an attorney or should I just deal with them one on one.

It's entirely up to you whether to contact an attorney or not. Nobody here can decide for you.
