Flag Football Pickup Games

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Virginia

I am not sure if I am posting this in the correct place.

I am considering setting up pickup games for flag football through a social website dedicated to shared hobbies. I was wondering if I am liable if someone gets hurt at these games since I will be the organizer? I have no intention of this being a business and will not be charging any fees to come to the games or for any service. We will be playing the games in local parks.

If I am liable, what type of attorney do I need to seek out to write up documents that could protect me from lawsuits?

I wouldn't take the risk...

I would burn an hour of a personal injury attorney's time and come up with a liability waiver that people have to agree to as part of the sign up process.

By the way, most parks and recreation authorities will require these waivers anyway.
