Forcefully towed.

What is the name of your state? Kentucky
Hello,
I would like to know what my rights are, my situation is as follows.
At 2:00 AM my next door neighbor came knocking on my door to tell me that my car was being towed, I immediately went outside to speak to the tow truck driver, by the time I got to the vehicle he already had the car hooked with the winch from his Flatbed. I tried to convince him to please give me a break and not tow my vehicle, I explained to him that I had forgotten to pull my vehicle into the garage before going to bed but this person just would not reason, it was like talking to a brick wall. I explained to him that I would call the police, he mentioned that I can call whomever I wanted that it would make no difference, I mean the car wasn't even on the Tow truck at this point. Before he started pulling the car onto the Flatbed I decided to get in my car to see if this would stop him from taking my car, immediately upon doing this he started to lift the car with me in it without caring that I was in the car, once the car was almost all the way up on the flatbed and seeing that this person just didn't care I decided to step out of my car. As soon as I stepped out of the car he began to move the platform making me loose my balance and falling to the ground in a sitting position. He told me that if I didn't want the car taken away I would have to pay him $50.00, after seeing this persons attitude I decided to pay him the $50.00 just to have my car back. For the next few days I had horrible lower back pain that just wouldn't go away, so I decided to head to the doctor. After several tests and an MRI the results are that I have 2 herniated discs and I can only control the pain with pain killers or surgery. Several people including my wife and kids saw this while it happened.

Can you please tell me what my rights are in this matter and if anything can be done. Thanks. What is the name of your state?

You have the right to not park your car illegally. You have the right to not take a course of action that caused you to be hurt.
