| Heart attack in Las Vegas

About 6 weeks qago,while on vacation, my husband suffered a " acute mycardial infarction" heart attack.Main artery completly closed off.Time was of the essence on the extent of damage that occurred.The vacation resort where we stayed protocal was to send up their security team when I called for an ambulance..not only did it take them (what seemed to be )forever to get to our room but not only could they not administer a simple asprin,aside from a very primitive oxygen unit, their lack of expertise was very evident.I had assumed they had already called for the perimedics???they had not and finally did.Alot of wasted time!!He suffered permenant damage to the heart muscle ,.He is at appx 30-35 % and we wont know for quite a while how much if any will restore.It has been very obvious to us lately his life expectency is now much less. Do we have a case against the resort?? Does nevada have laws to protect then?? T.Silva |
