From all of your "help" postings in the different areas of the forum, donnas, I can see very clearly that you want some help. However, I am a little confused about your situation, and hope you can answer a few questions to clarify it a bit.

Are the stairs that your husband fell down in a rental house? If the stairs are in a rental house, had you complained to the landlord at any time in the last four years about the lack of railings on the stairs?

What does "orderly removal in effect" mean?

Is WHO liable for the injury? A landlord??

(I hope your husband's foot surgery went well.)
