Unhappy

Help me please!

What is the name of your state? New Jersey

I recently sent an email to the administration of my school and within the letter I may have gotten a bit over excited an said some things about a teacher that were not true but in no means did it threaten her. Im being threatened with an In School Suspension, can they do this?

Here is my letter with the Name removed:

and a copy of school rules: http://www.freewebs.com/fsdkgjds/index.htm

what if any legal action can I take if they try to suspend me?

Take it to the ACLU!! Sorry ...only kidding...

Have you spoken to your parents about this? If so, what do they say?

So, did you exaggerate the facts?

I would have read the last portion as a threat - so it certainly comes across as one, and I am not surprised if school admin read it the same way.

You NEED to get your parents involved right away

It's a threat

That could read that if it is not taken care of promptly that you may sue them. I saw nothing in the letter that warrants being suspended for. Threatening legal action is not a course for suspension. If I were you I would let my parents know whats going on and show them this letter, then hire a lawyer and have him or her contact the school for you. Go directly to the school board. You have already tried going thru her chain of command with no results so that is the next step.
