I was shot!!

What is the name of your state? Arkansas

Two years ago I was dove hunting on the place of my employment(catfish farm) and was shot by the manager of the place. He is not the owner but lives on the farm. I was about to finish my bachelors at the time and was forced to withdrawl from the university. I have now finished school and am wanting to pursue this. I was shot in the right eye and have lost the vision in it. The man that shot me was 84 yards away and we located in an open burned field. A dove came in at eye level between us and he shot straight toward me. This occured at seven am, sunrise was at 6:30 am. It was well lite. Any help??

What is your question?

Who paid the medical bills? Was there some kind of law enforcement investigation of the incident? Were you wearing hunter orange/clothing required? Was this a work sponsored event? More information needed.

I had to pay all medical bills. No investigation, it was my boss that shot me. Dove hunting does not require any orange as birds have great vision. He knew that I was there, he talked to me.. I am wanting to know if he and the landowner are liable for this. This is a private club sort of; employees only kind of thing. What actions should I do? I have $45,000 in bills, 26 years old, and one eye..

Like I said...Talk to a good PI attorney and tell him/her what happened...They will know who to "go after"!!

Wearing orange has nothing to do with the HUNTED's vision... it has to do with the HUNTER's vision.
