I'm going to repost this question

What is the name of your state? TX I'll be brief, I promise. My criminal attorney's web site claims to "get outside and get some sun" for his defendents, which I am, but I can do that in 20 short minutes at the tanning place.

Now, last summer I was living with a girl who managed an apt. community and she hired a local cop to be their gaurd, of course while he was off work. Within a couple of weeks of hiring him, he shot and killed a resident's guest who was unarmed, maybe even in the back, and like 4 times.. wow.

About two months later, I started suspecting my girlfriend of doing bad things, up to and including consuming drugs. As it turns out, my suspicions were correct and I decided to leave in late Oct./Nov of last year. That wasn't soon enough as she called the moving company (you know, the off duty fireman and policeman, only these weren't off duty at the time) and had me moved out with one call where she made a couple of false allegations. I feel confident with that situation, although the $$ part is no fun.

How I found out about the (now) ex girlfriend's cunsumption was by video as she would do bad things and video tape herself, and other's being culpable. I made it out the door that day in Nov. with three things, my youngest daughter, my car key, and those videos that implicate her.

Those tapes have been subpeanoad in the wrongful death suit agsint her employer. The videos are very gratuatious and personal but show her lack of credibility. There's obviously more to this, such as the chip on the cop's shoulder that the general consensus is any reasonable person should have been able to recognize, such as the hiring manager, my ex, but failed to. But so did the local police in my town.

I've given the videos to the law firm, but as sincere as I am about her falsey accusing me, even being almost positive her actions are driven by that case, it doens't feel right I guess.

I know seniorjudge has answered this concern with if it's true, it's not slander or unethical or etc., etc. I'll defer. Am I a chump for even admitting I had those tapes to the law frim sueing her company?

And thanks!
