Injury at home

what is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Washington I live with my daughter. She has an written agreement with the owner that if she buys the place she is responcible for all repairs. Now, the place was in worse condition than my daughter thought when she agreed to this. She knew that there were somethings wrong, but the longer we live here the more of a dump I find the place. My question is, If I were to step and fall through the floor, would I be able to sue the owner. By the way, I am listed like my grandkids are on the agreement. Do I have a leg to stand on if this were to happen. No pun intended. I really hope nothing happens, I am 63 years old.
