interesting question I was askedWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? alaska if a ski resort makes snow and it coats your porch and you slip and fall from it is the resort responsible for the accident? |

| It's debatable. You can claim negligence, but if there was no serious or more importantly permanent injury you don't have a case. |

| Ski resorts make snow on their mountains, not on people's porches. If you have manufactured snow on your porch, then you're going to end up with a much bigger problem from skiiers ending up in your living room then you are from slipping on manufactured ice on your front porch. So it's an absurd notion to begin with. But on the off chance it were to happen, the primary negligent party would be the person not watching where they were going when coming down their front steps. |
