| mo. Honestly, that is a question no one can answer, how can a person be stopped? If they are going to kill themselves, you nor anyone can stop them. If they threaten it, you may intervene, but if their intentions are truly to do this, how can you charge them with a crime if they are dead? |

There is nothing you can doexcept call the police and have them ask him if he said he wants to kill himself. If he says yes they can place him on a 72 hour hold at the local mental hospital or mental ward at the hospital. Most people who tell someone they want to kill themselves are usually looking for help. If a person really wants to commit suicide they will do it they wont tell someone first. Your friend is reaching out for help its up to you whether you want to do it or not. |
