Texas...I received a letter on October 25, 2011 from an attorney stating a family is pursuing a liability claim against me. How do I respond?

It depends entirely on the situation and the details of the situation. However, if you have to ask that basic of a question, you probably need to consult an attorney.

Depending on what the claim is for, you would notify your homeowner's insurance or your auto insurance.
