While on a recent vacation, I decided to go on a river raft ride. I was required to sign a liability wavier by the operators. I received an injury that has required medical and physical therapy expenses. Does the tour operator have any liability?

Only if he was negligent in some significant way. A release can't relieve someone of liability for negligence, but it can relieve them from liability for accidental injuries received during an inherently risky activity.
