Loss wages denied

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York

Does anybody know how this works? I have been working since I was old enough to work, over 35 years now. 6 months ago I was seriously injured in a car accident, someone ran a red light and crashed right into me. I have received two loss wage payments during this period of time. Was seen by an independent doctor at 2 months after injury (check was held until dr's report was completed), saw same dr. last month-I expected the check to be delay for August. This time after the dr's report. The insurance company sent me a letter stating, I am being denied all loss wage, medical, Physical Therapy immediately, they will no longer pay.

The doctor I've been seeing since this accident happened says I am unable to work for at least 4 or 5 more months, which by the way had never seen this dr. not one single time before this injury occurred. He didn't know me and I didn't know him. I can barely walk, let alone work, this pain is constant.

I have been told that now my health insurance will have to be billed now. Your help is appreciated!

Did they give you a reason for the denial? And is this YOUR insurance or the other guy's?
