Lost Lashes

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? GA
One week ago I went to a salon to have indivudal eyelashes put on. This was the first time I went to a salon but not the first time I have had lashes. I thought the glue smelled kind of funny put paid it no mind. A few hours later, I noticed my lashed felt really scratchy, and when I closed my eyes the bottom of my top lashes felt like they were scratching my bottom lashes. Now a week later as the lashes are beginning to come out I see my lashes coming out with the false; MY EYELASHES ARE NEARLY BALD!!!!!!! Needless to say I am furious and plan on going to the salon to ask what r they going to do to make it right. My lashes are so disfigured. I have thought about taking pictures, going to a ophthalmologist, and getting a script for Lattise, and ask for $5000 for damages and pain and suffering. I saved the lashes and it is clear my lashes extend past the false lashes. I believe the tech used nail glue, I know what type of bonding glue is supposed to be used and that was not it. I believed she used negligence in using a product that is not approved for eyes and as a result my lashes are disfigured. The lashes that I saved are stuck together very tightly and it feels like nail glue on them. Please advise.....

Only $5000? Why so little?

Having individual lashes applied does carry risks, including the adverse reaction you had. Can you prove that the wrong adhesive was used, or that the tech was negligent? Did you sign a release of any kind before having the lashes applied?

PS: You're lashes can fall out after applying Latisse. It's a documented adverse reaction.

Your lashes will probably grow back if you can refrain from putting chemicals on your eyes for a while.

First you go to a doctor, and you probably need a skin specialist. Then you check that what is wrong with the skin at that part, and take a report. Then on basis of that you can take further steps.

No, you don't need to do any of that. You need to let your lashes grow back on their own.
