Utah but the incident happened in Mesquite, Nevada.
My daughter and I were enjoying the swimming pool at Casa Blanca Resort. We swam for about two hours, during this time the bottom of her feet became irritated enough for her to bring it to my attention. We left the pool shortly afterward, but the bottom of her big toes and her butt became sore, red and inflamed. I think these symptoms came from the texture or debris of the swimming pool. (The pool has stoops inside where bathers can sit) I think this is where her butt got rubbed raw.
We tried to wear clean socks or flip flops but the resort prohibits the usage of such items inside their pools. I understand that socks in pools sound strange but they were brand-new and not dirty whatsoever.
When I got to the hotel later that night her feet were hurting so I went to get her bandages, creams and Tylenol. When I informed the Resort they kept on transferring me to other departments eventually I was connected with Security. The Security personnel told me to come in the morning and fill a report. I went to Security in the morning and they were completely unaware and acted like I was in their way. I asked them for bandages to replace the ones I had to remove for the photos they had to take. They only had two bandages to spare (which wouldn’t cover the injured areas) I was not only annoyed but I was referred to talk to a Risk Management Specialist who had given me more excuses than answers. He made me feel completely insignificant. This minor injury ruined our entire vacation. We had to leave town early to be in the comfort of home. I cannot carry a nine year old all over the resort until her wounds heal. I don’t know what to say to the Risk manager that I already said, but I feel like they owe me the Spring break we came for.

If you read it. I stated that the skin became rubbed off her toes and butt making it extremely difficult for her to walk and sit.
Ps I have nothing to exaggerate. I know some people lifes must be boring but its a true story and the characters are real.

She should have been more careful about rubbing her skin on the bottom of the pool, and you should have paid more attention and pulled her out before it got that bad. You could have bandaged her up and gave her some children's ibuprofen and she would have been fine.

Come on I don’t need the ‘smart-ass’ remarks. It would be extremely twisted if I let my child get hurt and did nothing about it. I could never do that to anyone! Plus your statement/remedy is after-the-fact dont you think? I cant tell the future :)
